YUNIQ Logistics (Pty) Ltd ("YUNIQ", "we", "us") is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). This policy explains what we collect through this website, why, and what rights you have over it.

What we collect

When you request a quote, register an account, or contact us, we collect:

Your name, email address and phone number
Your company name, where provided
Shipment details: origin, destination, cargo type, weight and volume
Account credentials, if you register (your password is never stored in readable form - it's cryptographically hashed before it touches our database)

Why we collect it

Solely to provide the service you've asked for: calculating and sending you a freight quote, processing a booking, communicating with you about a shipment, and issuing invoices.

What we don't do

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies on this website.
We never publish or display banking/payment details on this website - those are only ever sent to you directly on an invoice addressed to you.

Sharing with third parties

We may share limited shipment details (such as pickup/delivery locations and cargo type - not your full contact details) with a vetted transport partner or driver where necessary to actually fulfil your booking. We do not share your information for marketing purposes.

How long we keep it

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our services and to meet our legal and tax recordkeeping obligations under South African law.

Your rights under POPIA

You have the right to:

Ask what personal information we hold about you
Request that inaccurate information be corrected
Request that we delete information we no longer have a lawful reason to keep
Object to how your information is being used
Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa if you believe we've mishandled your information
