Common Questions

FAQ

Do I need my own GIT insurance?

Loads booked through YUNIQ carry GIT cover up to R1,000,000. If you also run loads outside our platform, you'll want your own policy for those.

Can I choose which loads I accept?

Yes - you browse the load board and claim what fits your route and schedule. Nothing is auto-assigned to you.

What cargo can I haul?

General freight, perishables (reefer), machinery, mining equipment and agricultural cargo. Hazardous materials require the relevant certification.

Do you operate outside South Africa?

Our active cross-border corridors today are South Africa ↔ Botswana and South Africa ↔ Zambia. Zimbabwe and Mozambique routes are in progress - see our corridors page for current status.

How does payment work?

We're building out fast, transparent payment processing. We'll confirm exact payment terms with you directly during onboarding - nothing here is a substitute for what's agreed in writing with our team.
